The Warmest Welcome at Willowbeck Lodge.
Willowbeck Lodge is an award-winning family run boutique hotel, restaurant and wedding venue.
The five bedrooms in the main house all take their names from the trees that grow in the mature
gardens that encompass the lodge - Willow, Ash, Beech, Oak and Hazel.
All the rooms are newly redecorated to a high standard and feature;ensuite bathrooms, king or
super king size beds, Egyptian cotton bedding and views over the garden and pond.
Eva's Cottage, an annex, adjacent to the main house, sleeps four in two ensuite bedrooms.
The Cedar garden suite is set amongst Willow trees and has its own open plan lounge
plus two ensuite bedrooms. Its modern contemporary design takes Nordic inspiration and the
interior is designed for privacy and with relaxed luxury in mind.
A uniquely personal experience...
Staying at the lodge is a warm and familiar experience, offering the facilities and services of a large hotel with the personal touches of a bed and breakfast.
Updated Coronavirus Statement March 2020.
In response to the UK goverments guidlines regarding the Covid 19 virus and with the situation changing daily, we're finding it almost impossible to know whether to remain open or closed during this period. As with all small business, the determind part of us wants to continue to operate as safely as possible whilst maintaining a small income stream and hopefully protect ourselves financially going forward. The other part now accepts that with our staff in lockdown or isolation and our suppliers closing, the task of continuing to operate to the same standards are near impossible. Going forward, we believe we have a moral duty to serve the workforce on the . front-line of this crisis (NHS employees an anyone else that are classified as an 'essential worker'). We will be unable to operate a restaurant service so rooms will now be booked on a 'room only' basis. We propose guests contacts us directly.
Over the last week we have recieved nearly 100% cancellation for all pre-booked rooms for the coming 3-months. As part of the direct booking process, we do stipuate that the £50 pre-paid deposit is non-refundable. We are considering an option whereby we will transfer the deposit to a future date, but this will depend on whether our insurance will cover our loss of earnings during this time. For guests who have booked via third-parties i.e. Booking.com or Hotels.com we ask for you to contact the sites directly. We have been notified that Booking, com have declared a Force Majeure/Forced circumstances for all hotel bookings made with them between the 23rd March and the 13th April. They have yet to pass onto us how this process will be implemented, so we ask for guests patience in this matter.
Finally, Sarah and I would like to sincerely thank those guests how have shown support and understanding to us over recent weeks.
Over the last 15-years we have survived floods,a fire and now we're dealing with pestilence. Each set back has made us stronger. We will provail once more.
